OUR STORY OF SNOWMAN LANE

How SML got it's start on Dry Creek

SNOWMAN LANE is family owned and operated. Our Snowmen and scenes are hand crafted by us and  built with some repurposed items.....Dry Creek is the name we gave to our place in the country, over 30 years ago, just outside of Farmington Missouri in Ste. Genevieve County.  What started as 15 snowmen in 2005, to go around the driveway in the woods,  soon progressed into snowman scenes for personal holiday decorations which then became "Snowman Lane".  In 2014 we opened to friends and family on scheduled nights just to share what we had created. As they left, we greeted each car that came thru.  Each year we would get more and more request to come in and see our snowmen. Sometimes it would be by cute card or message in the mailbox from passers by that we did not know.

Then in 2019 with much thought and planning we put in a 1/2 mile road and electric in the field,  that we now open to the public as a drive thru Snowman SCENE Park.

Now known as the official SNOWMAN LANE. We emphasis the SCENE, because we focus on adding unique scenes of snowmen along with some lights.  We are not a fancy light show, but we do offer lights along with a little trivia that visitors are invited to take part in (just for fun) as they drive thru.

Our days of operation start on Thanksgiving and are then Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays  from 6:00- 9:30 for $15 a vehicle. Large vans and buses are extra.   More specifics can be found on our event page on Facebook.

We hope you will join us annually for years to come at SNOWMAN LANE.
